AgriGuard Set-up Instructions

1. As best as you can, try to align the garden rows and cover units perpendicular to the prevailing winds, which in Maine and New Hampshire are primarily out of the North West. That way, any storms and strong wind gusts will strike the AgriGuard units “Broadside” maximizing the units crop protection.

2. Lay down and secure 4ft wide by 12ft long (or longer if longer rows are called for) landscape fabric.

3. On each longitudinal side of landscape fabric, align and insert base units 4 feet apart and insert into ground up to but not covering holes for bungee cord hooks with holes facing outward from landscape fabric with corners as “square” as you can.

4. Before setting up the AgriGuard unit cut landscape fabric at planting hole sites and, if desired, prepare planting holes/cages/3ft stakes for peppers(you’ll need them!).Lay down desired irrigation (soaker hose / sprinklers, etc)and attach to water timer.

5. Now you may plant your garden.

6. Insert arches into bases with concave faces facing upward.

7. Lay cover(s) over arches with “summer”cover first and frost cover (if desired) after. Make sure all 4 edges of each cover are touching the ground all the way around the enclosure.

8. Hook 1 end of cord in respective base and nest cord in concave groove of arch hooking other end of cord in opposing base. Proceed as same with remaining 3 arches.

9. Cover corners and grasp excess corner material and tuck in between the corner arch and the bungee cord to secure ends. Repeat for each corner.

10. Enjoy the summer and have fun watching your garden amaze you!
